Well the blog died for a few weeks now, not even sure if anyone noticed but oh well...
Kinda unsure if I should continue with this blog cos the thought of it is getting a bit dumb. I just ramble on about my day so much its just like a personal diary for me to keep track of what i've done. But oh well i'll just try to jump start it again.
School is begining to get hectic again, with more projects coming in...so I wont really blog that much... Oh and today while I was coming home on the MRT, I got a seat at Buangkok and fell asleep straight away. I woke up to find myself at Boon Keng heading down towards Harbourfront...This is what I call power...
Well Thats The End Of The First Week Saturday, October 24, 20096:21 PM
Its been an interesting first week, and I can safely say that while this sem is gonna be a lot more fun, its also gonna be a heck lot more stressful. So please forgive me if I shout or scream or am in a constant bad mood cos that just means im very stressed. Been feeling a bit moody lately due to several things so I just gotta get my head straight first and start concentrating on work.
Its times like these that I somehow manage to drown myself listening to music on Youtube. I could spend hours going from video to video listening to music. Well I guess I cant show you all but i'll just show you these. They're all the same song, but only with different takes. And yes, all of these guys are really really old. Only one is still alive actually.
Nat King Cole, so smooth...
Tony Bennet, hes the one thats still alive...
Frank Sinatra, doing it his way...
First Day Of The New Semester Monday, October 19, 200910:12 PM
Well kinda dragged myself out of bed to get to school today. First lesson was Public Relations lecture and well it was just an intro, the whole hall was completely nosiy as usual. Had econs lecture after that and it was quite boring. Not really looking forward to it in the future. Web publishing was cancelled so we went to Holland Village to eat lunch and then came back. Had news writing after that and it was quite fun cause the teacher was quite good. Rushed off to meet Sean and bumped into my mum on the MRT...So it was kinda awkward for Sean I guess cos she talked to him a bit. Met Zheng Hao on the way to Chomp Chomp (If thats how you spell it) and met Clement, Steven and Kenneth there. Had a nice chat and a full meal and then headed home. Interesting day.

Outing12:27 AM
Met up with Sean and Naomi for a little outing today. Ate lunch at the foodcourt first and then headed for bowling. Since it was Marina Square bowling Sean and I already expected to suck. Theres just something about that place. Well played kinda average... Went for pool after that and I won all my matches haha. Went to burger king after that for dinner and I told all my jokes and riddles to them, excpet the racist ones. Some were intellectual, some were really lame. Headed to the Esplanade rooftop after that for photo taking and took a lot with the "pot" haha.
Out With The SPA Saturday, October 17, 200912:03 AM
Had to go to school this morning to wash the equipment we used for the Datuk expedition. So basically just washed the mess tins, the huge blue tarps and the tents. We also had to wait for them to dry too. The whole thing didnt really take that long, maybe only around 2 hours plus?
Well we had lunch in school first before heading out to Marina Square. We decided to watch a movie first but didnt really know what to watch. In the end we decided to watch one supposedly scary movie called Pandorum. It was the first time in a long while that I watched a movie without any prior knowledge on what the movie was about. We then went to the flyer for a while to meet Eugene and wait for the others to collect their Nike Human Race Packs. Really regret not joining now man...sad... Well theres always a next year.
Went back to Marine Square and walked around for a while before meeting Thomas and watching the film. Well I gotta say that the movie was REALLY REALLY GOOD!!!! It was one of the few movies that my eyes were totally glued to the screen for the whole duration of the movie. I couldnt believe that my friends fell asleep or even said it was boring!!! Sure it was extremely confusing, but it was understandable at the end of the day. It isnt really a movie for the faint hearted cos some parts were a bit scary and gory, but the movie in all was AWESOME!!! It reminded me of another science fiction space horror, Event Horizon. I just read some of the critics reviews and it was actually quite negative. But I dont care! Im giving it 4 Stars!
Well went to eat dinner afterwards and went home. In all, a good day.
Sea Training Thursday, October 15, 20099:30 PM
Had sea training yesterday at Poly Marina. Surprisingly it was my first sea training after so long because i've always somehow or another missed it. Ok so we took down the kayaks first and while we were doing so, we found out that the other more expensive kayaks were filled with water due to the rain, so we decided to get the water out first. As it was filled with water, it was extremely heavy, so one of the seniors asked me to support the kayak on my shoulder and he the other side, while we took it off the rack. Well as we got it off the rack, he couldnt support the weight and dropped the kayak. Due to the tremendous weight, I fell down with the kayak landing on my shoulder and side. For a few moments I was just stunned there, but I kinda snaped out of it and was thankfully unharmed. It was actually kinda scary.
Ok so we moved on and procceded on to kayaking where we did some slow warm ups did to Amanda's inexperience. Then we procceded on to a sorta mini skills refreshing session. We headed back onto shore for a while for lunch before heading back out and learning some new skills. There was one turning one which I dont remember the name which we had a lot of fun with. We tried to do some elaborate stunts with the new moves and it was kinda funny. We then moved on to the capsize skills and I finally learnt the eskimo bar, woo! Practiced a little bit after that before heading back in. And while trying to carry the kayaks back in, I fell off the jetty while walking backwards... Great...
